Oxford Named a Best Place to Work in Southeast Michigan
Oxford has been named one of Crain’s 2024 Best Places to Work in Southeast Michigan for the second year in a row, and the third time in the past five years.
The list of top employers comes from Crain’s Detroit Business and its work with Workforce Research Group, which utilizes questionnaires and surveys to assess workplaces on aspects of employee experience such as training, work-life balance, leadership, workplace culture, role satisfaction, and more. Earning a spot on the list requires that employees be, overall, highly satisfied with the organization.
Working Towards Becoming One of the Best Places to Work in Michigan
“Recruiting and retaining the absolute best talent is a key priority for us at Oxford,” said Jeff Hauptman, CEO. “This honor from Crain’s Detroit Business is a testament to the hard work we put into making Oxford a fantastic place for our tremendously valued team to work.”
Oxford currently offers its team benefits including comprehensive health care coverage including dental and vision, 401(k) with an employer match, paid vacation, paid parental leave, on-site gym access, twice weekly yoga sessions, weekly visits with a nutritionist and trainer, flexible start and end times, compressed work week options, hybrid work schedule, an employee development program, and annual bonus potential.
Molly Haller, Chief Financial Officer, has been instrumental in leading workplace culture initiatives at Oxford. “All of us want a fun, collaborative, rewarding work environment. Here at Oxford, we’re explicit about our expectations for behavior and culture – we even have an employee handbook that’s inspired by our longstanding No A**hole Rule, that spells out our organizational values and what they mean in the context of our day-to-day activities. We aren’t a perfect organization, but we’re highly committed to giving the best experience possible to our team. This honor reflects that commitment, and I couldn’t be more proud.”
