Oxford’s Katie Vohwinkle Named “Property Manager of the Year” at Detroit Real Estate Awards 

In a testament to exceptional leadership in property management, Oxford’s Director of Multifamily Property Management, Katie Vohwinkle, was awarded the prestigious “Property Manager of the Year” at the 2025 Detroit Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala. The ceremony, hosted at The Community House in Birmingham, Michigan on January 30th, brought together over a hundred professionals from across metropolitan Detroit’s commercial real estate sector.

Katie’s achievements in 2024 showcase her values-driven approach to property management and community engagement. Under her leadership, Oxford’s multifamily portfolio experienced growth of 16%, and per-bed revenue increased by 13%.

Beyond the numbers, Katie has demonstrated a commitment to community development. Her participation in the A2YChamber Leadership Program and partnership with HouseN2Home, an Ann Arbor non-profit, has helped address housing insecurity in the local community. She has also played a vital role in strengthening relationships between property managers and city officials through her work with the Ann Arbor Renters Commission.

As Oxford prepares to break ground on the largest development in Ann Arbor’s history, Katie’s contributions to the Arbor South team have been invaluable. Her leadership style extends to talent development, with three team members achieving internal promotions under her guidance.

The award recognizes Katie’s outstanding contributions to both Oxford and the broader real estate community, where she competed alongside notable industry professionals including Alex Harris of Farbman Group/NAI Farbman.
